Sixth of October for Development and Investment Company (SODIC) signed a contract for the acquisition of Al Yusr for Projects and Agricultural Development (Al Yusr).

Dubai-based developer Nakheel has announced that tests on the Palm Jumeirah monorail will begin testing this October. The Palm Monorail is the first monorail project to be constructed in the Middle East.
