Rajasthan is located in northwest of India. It is one of the driest regions in India. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is pretty in pink. Vegetable marts, jewellery shops, camel-riding locals make it a busy and crowded metropolis.

Paintings, handicrafts, jewellery and textiles art of Rajasthan’s people reflect the distinctiveness of the region. Jaipur jewellery is a combination of precious stones in the gold.

Today there is a demand of new designs jewellery, but the old silver jewellery is famous in desert areas. People in Textile industry have artisans at work in home- be it a carpet and bangle sets with precious stones. The state has something to offer for all. There are wooden handicrafts, marble handicrafts, paintings, zardori work on textiles, etc.
