Network camera is also called as IP cameras or Ethernet cameras. It has software built-in on its chip that allows anyone on the network to view the audio or video data – just like a computer on a network.

Person can view the images in an internet browser by pulling up the IP address assigned to the camera. Transmit video over your existing network cable and provide easy access to anyone on your network or Internet.

People need Network camera due to follwing :
1) Most of the network cameras on the market are very simple to follow
instructions for both the hardware and software end.
2) They are comparatively cheaper than other security cameras. People can
have a network camera security system that can stand on it’s own against
CCTV and traditional security systems.
3) It can works with the existing computer network. So, one need not to pay
more for the proper security infrastructure.
4) Customer can watch his home, childs room, vacation home, all activities
while on vacation, etc. This gives him a peace of mind.
5) When camera detects motion, either when someone visits home, or when
children leave home to hang out, person immediately receive alerts via
email.
